Hi Scrappers ...

Our paper has arrived from the United States.  Soooo exciting.  Once again we have two selections for you to choose from.  You can take both if you want (just advise us asap as we need to bring in enough stock)!!!

Yesterday Kit:
A delightful theme to capture all our wonderful memories!!!

Travel Kit:  
As you all know I absolutely love travel layouts!!!  So we had to have yet another travel themed pack at our Retreat.

Just a reminder that your R500-00 (non-refundable deposit) needs to be paid asap to secure your kit!!!  We have limited space ... so you don't want to be disappointed.  If you want to qualify for the early bird special (to receive the  FREE album) - payment needs to be made by no later than close of business on the 5th June 2015.  Balance of payment for the retreat needs to be made by the 8th August 2015.

If you cannot join us on the Retreat ... you can order a kit only at a cost of R1550-00 (a deposit of R500-00 will secure your kit)!  Closing date for kit only orders (with full payment) is also the 8th August 2015.  Please note that you will only receive your kit after we return from the Retreat.

Our classes for the next few weeks are really exciting ....

Saturday, 30th May 2015 - Texture Class from 10h00-13h00

A delightful layout where we discover the use of texture paste and bloom spray!!! Everything you will need to create this layout is included in the kit!!!

Saturday, 6th June - African Skies Layout from 09h30-12h30

Pull out all your "bush" photos and join Karen Green to create this stunning layout.  You will be stamping, creating a cute booklet and loads to really keep you very busy!  You will use 12+ photos ...

Cost for the class is R235-00











Saturday, 6th June - Every Family Layout from 13h00-16h00

This layout will work well with any of your old photos (even black and white photos).  You will create a divine book on the left page and the layout holds approximately 30 photos.

Cost for the class is R260-00




Wednesday, 10th June or Saturday, 13th June - Card Class from 10h00-13h00 

Magda will be teaching you to make two stunning cards in this class.  Everything is cut and ready for you in your kit.  One is a cleverly folded card and the other has a magic pull out section.  You are going to really enjoy this class!!!

Cost for the class is R120-00

Sooooo our classroom is up and running!!!  Very very exciting!  Here are some of the upcoming classes:

Saturday, 18th April from 10h00 to 13h00 - Silhouette Class

Liane van Harne will be teaching you how to use your Silhouette machine!!!  What better way to discover the basics and learn how to create your own designs.  You will only need your own laptop (connected to wifi if possible) with the latest Silhouette programme (update) loaded.  Space is limited so payment will secure your spot!  We have 3 spots available ...

Saturday, 2nd May from 10h00 to 13h00 - Al Qudra Desert Layout

Join Karen Todd in creating this stunning layout that has pockets, tags and a booklet.  You will use between 20-23 photos.  Any theme will work for this layout!

Saturday, 9th May from 10h00 to 13h00 - You are Here by Desire Vorster

This layout is absolutely awesome.  Suitable for either travel of a family layout!!!  Remember that Desire's class fills up really quickly so payment will secure your spot.  We have 5 spots available.

DESIRE VORSTER CLASS - 28 FEBRUARY 2015

Scrappers ...

We are so excited ... Desire has agreed to teach the "Owl" layout at our shop this month!  I LOVE, LOVE and LOVE this layout!

You can choose either a boy layout "Mr Wise Guy" (example above) or a girl layout "Miss Know it All" (layout will be in pinks and purples).  Or ... you can buy both!!!

Class will be held on the 28th February 2015 from 10h00 to 13h00 in the training room at the Nursery.

Costs:   
Attending Delegates - R300-00 (includes room hire, refreshments and cake)
Kit Only - R250-00

RETREAT 20-22 MARCH 2014

Hi Scrappers

Can you believe that it's only 2 months away until our next retreat!  Unbelievable.  Loads of people already asking loads of questions and excitement is clearly very high!

We seem to have found our resident home for our scrap retreats .... Meulstroom Lodge!  We love the room that we use to scrapbook in!!!!  Also the accomodation and meals are stunning!!!!

Our paper order left the USA last night ... which is always a relief knowing it's on its way!  As usual you are able to choose which papers you would like to use for the retreat:

Kit 1 - Expressions:

The Kaisercraft Expressions range has loads of amazing colours!!!  Won't be difficult to create 6 double page layouts from this awesome variety.  Loads of extra goodies will be included to make this kit wow!

Kit 2 - Betsy's & Wanderlust:

For this kit we have chosen two different Kaiser collection kits to create the 6 double page layouts.  The one is a travel pack and the other has a nice "old fashioned" feel (we have only added 3 images per collection). Once again this kit too will have loads of goodies too!!

Costs for Retreat:

Costings have gone up slightly ... this is so we can add more goodies to your kits!!!  Nothing more exciting than opening up your kit and finding decent scrapbooking stash!

Attending R2,350-00: (this includes accommodation, meals, goodie bag, prizes and more than enough stock to do a minimum of 6 double page layouts.  At our last retreat some ladies were able to do another 3 layouts with the leftover stock!)
Non-Attending: R1,550-00 (goodie bag & entire kit)

Family, Friends & .... Album

We are so excited to let you see some sneak peeks of our January project!!!!  

We hope you can join us on the 24th and 25th January 2015 to create the Family, Friends & …. Album.  A full 20 page album in two days.  Everything you need to create the gorgeous 9 doubles and 2 single layouts is included in the kit.  We will start at 09h30 and finish at 15h30 on both days.   Teas & cakes will be provided in the morning and the afternoons.  Please note that limited spots are available!!! 

Costs for kit (with album):           R1,750-00

Cost for kit (no album):               R1,550-00

Please note that a R500-00 (non-refundable deposit) is required to secure your spot!  We only have 8 spots left!  Full payment for the day is to be received by the 5^th of January 2015.  Due to the high volume of late cancellations we will only add your name to the booking list once the deposit is received!

November Classes

Hi Scrappers

Just a reminder about our upcoming classes for November .....

Saturday, 22nd November, from 09h00-12h00 we will be exploring the stunning envelope punch board with Suzy!!!! Included in the cost of R195-00 is all the paper that you will use to create these stunning boxes. Awesome to go home and use up all the leftovers you have piled up at home!  Please note that you will need the We R Memory Keeps Envelope Punch Board to do this class ... they will be available at an additional cost of R325-00.  

Saturday afternoon, from 13h00 to 16h00, join Lara in creating a fun layout called "Priority Mail".  You will create gorgeous envelopes that will hold extra photos.  Please note that this is a pre-packed kit and everything required to make this layout is included in the kit cost of R280-00.  

Sunday, 23rd November, from 10h00 to 13h00, Petra will be teaching a whole stack of the most awesome cards using Kaisercraft paper, stickers and collectibles.  Everything required for the class is included in the kit cost of R275-00.

Please note that we will have coffee, tea and cake at each class ...

To secure your spot all you need to do is pay a deposit of R100-00 per class you wish to attend.  Balance due on the day.  Kits are available for non-attending clients too!!!
